DIGITAL PRINTING

PHOTO PRINTING

DPI Photography Center is the newest Kodak professional photo lab in the country. And because we cater to such a discerning market, we have invested substantial resources in color management to help our clients get the colors they want from their prints.

DPI currently has two printers: the Kodak RP 50 LED Printer and the Noritsu QSS 3000.

Of course, being a Kodak ProLab, DPI uses only 100% Kodak chemicals and papers to ensure consistency in producing high-quality prints.

Kodak RP 50 LED Printer

Kodak RP 50 LED Printer

DPI’s Kodak Professional RP 50 LED Printer offers consistently stunning enlargement print quality at high production speeds. It is capable of producing brilliant prints as big as 20” x 32” with the colors and quality Kodak is known for!

The Kodak Professional RP 50 LED Printer exposes digital images on photographic quality paper using a sophisticated technology involving Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs), which produces extremely sharp prints with minimal flare. The printer then delivers the exposed paper to the Processor, where RA-4 processing techniques develop the image and deliver the print.

As regards photo papers, DPI prints on three different types. In addition to the traditional silk and glossy papers is the metallic paper, which is fast becoming a favorite among professional photographers. Images printed on metallic paper exhibit an extra-ordinary sheen that can only be compared to that of metal, thus the name. Yet, it suits all types of photography: portraits, landscapes, product, and especially fashion.

We use the Kodak Professional Brilliance paper for silk and glossy, and the Kodak Professional Endura for our metallic prints.

The Kodak Professional printer accepts images in TIFF or JPEG formats. We request that the images already be set to the desired print size at a resolution of at least 250 ppi, or pixels per inch.

Noritsu QSS 3000

The Noritsu QSS 3000 is a perfect blend of quality and efficiency in photo printing.

A revolutionary laser technology is employed in the exposure system, after which it is processed using the RA-4 developing techniques, enabling high quality output—all the more so with Kodak’s quality papers and chemicals.

Its printing speed makes it ideal for bulk printing requirements such as graduation pictures, and wedding proofs.
