STUDIO RENTAL

The DPI studios have fast become a favorite among professional photographers for commercial and magazine shoots.

DPI has two large, all-white, high-ceiling studios, fully equipped with studio equipment, lights, light accessories and modifiers, backgrounds, and posing stools and risers, making them ideal for fashion shoots and group portraits. The product table also makes the studios ideal for advertising and product shoots.

Adjacent to the studios are two dressing rooms. The large dressing room has a long, fully-lit make-up counter which can seat up to five models. It has two fitting rooms with full-length mirrors, and its own bathroom with shower facilities. For fewer models, the smaller dressing room can seat three models. It has one fitting room with full-length mirror.

Floor area Studio A is approximately 44 square meters, while Studio B is approximately 36 square meters. Both studios can be combined into a single 80 square meter space. Height 16 feet Color The floors and walls are white. Backgrounds Eight to ten backgrounds per studio: White, Black, Gray, Red, Pink, Yellow Orange, Yellow, Green, Light Blue, Blue, Navy Blue, and Purple. Dressing Room Specifications

Guidelines on Use of Studio

1. Reservation:
   1. Clients may rent any of the two studios, each measuring approximately 40 square meters. Both studios may be combined for larger space requirements.
   2. Reservations may be made in thirty-minute increments, with a minimum length of one hour on Mondays through Saturdays, and three hours on Sundays.
   3. Reserved time should include ingress and egress. However, if the studio is available, the photographer may set-up fifteen minutes prior to the reserved time.
   4. The schedules shall be strictly enforced. Extension of studio use beyond the reserved time shall be allowed, subject to availability and subject to the applicable rental rates.

   Studio Equipment: Rental of each studio comes with the use of the following: 3 Visio / Genesis strobes with modeling light 2 Falcon Eyes strobes with modeling light 1 light boom Light stands Tripod Various light modifiers, umbrellas, softboxes, snoots, grids, barndoors, reflectors Sekonic light meter Radio flash trigger and receiver or infrared flash trigger Product table – subject to availability Industrial fan Different colored seamless backgrounds – Care should be taken to ensure that the backgrounds are kept clean. Clients should remove their shoes or cover the soles of their shoes with masking tape before stepping on the background. Masking tape is provided for by DPI. Monitor - The digital camera’s video-out cable can be plugged into the television’s video-in (yellow) socket to serve as a monitor. Additional lights may be rented (subject to availability) at the following rates: Visio / Genesis strobes - P100 per hour Falcon Eyes strobes - P50 per hour Moving studio equipment: Changing the positions of lights and changing color backgrounds during the shoot shall be the responsibility of the client. Changing of large light modifiers and accessories such as soft boxes and booms should be done only by DPI personnel. If uncertain on how to change or adjust lights or any studio accessories, client should request assistance from DPI personnel. Loss or Damage to Equipment. – Clients shall be held responsible for studio equipment that is damaged or lost while under their care. In case studio equipment is damaged or lost, the client shall be asked to shoulder the cost of repair (if repairable) or replacement. Strobe bulbs and modeling light bulbs that are extinguished due to normal use will not be charged to the client.

   Dressing room: Studio clients may use the dressing rooms free of charge as early as one hour before and until thirty minutes after their studio reservation. The dressing rooms are not for the exclusive use of any one client. They are intended to be shared by clients of both studios. Thus, to avoid over-crowding, chaperones and other companions should be asked to wait outside in the lobby. Clients should watch over their personal belongings and valuables at all times. DPI shall not be responsible for any loss or damage of personal belongings within the DPI premises.

Price List

1. Mondays to Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Regular operating hours) - P500 per hour (plus P250 per increment of a half hour, or fraction thereof) per studio. VAT not included.
2. Mondays to Saturdays, outside of regular operating hours - P600 per hour (plus P300 per increment of a half hour, or fraction thereof) per studio. VAT not included.
3. Sundays – P700 per hour (plus P350 per increment of a half hour, or fraction thereof) per studio. VAT not included.
